Lab Instructor – Mathematics

• Good knowledge in MATLAB, R and Python programming environment.
• Conduct laboratory sessions on Mathematics, Probability & Statistics using MATLAB, R software and Python.
• Assist students in installing, configuring, and using MATLAB, R, RStudio and Python
• Demonstrate statistical concepts through hands-on experiments, simulations, data visualization, regression, confidence intervals, and hypothesis testing.
• Prepare laboratory manuals, datasets, tutorial sheets, and experiment instructions.
• Guide students during laboratory exercises and troubleshoot software-related issues.
• Evaluate laboratory assignments, experiments, and reports according to departmental assessment guidelines.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, software installations, and records.
• Ensure laboratory safety, discipline, and compliance with institutional policies.
• Support faculty members in laboratory preparation, examinations, and project work.
• Provide technical assistance during practical examinations and continuous assessment.

• Effective Teaching: Prepare and deliver engaging lab sessions. Provide clear instructions and support to students.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety briefings.
• Resource Management: Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty to design and update lab curricula.
• Student Supervision: Supervise lab activities and provide individualized assistance.
• Administrative Efficiency: Complete administrative tasks, such as report preparation, on time.
• Feedback Implementation: Gather feedback from faculty and students regularly.
