• Relevant PhD degree with professional and/or teaching experience
• Strong research record and expertise in a specialised design area
• Excellence in teaching, research and professional service

• We welcome candidates with strong research potential and/or good publication record in transdisciplinary design projects.
• Candidates at the Associate Professor level should have stronger academic and professional achievements. Candidates with less experience will be considered at a lower level.

• Teach at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels in a mix of design disciplines
• Conduct high-level research and publish in top-tier journals
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic leadership
• Supervise students, provide academic guidance and mentorship
• Engage in industry, community and public sector collaborations
• Initiate funded research projects and secure competitive grants
• Participate in service, departmental and university activities
